*Store * Refresh *Freeze

Our bakes have no additives or preservatives. They are best eaten on the day they are made! Still warm with lots of butter is the best way, but if you need to store them, an uncut loaf should last 2-3 days in an airtight container. (To refresh just pop in the oven at 180* for 10 minutes.) Sourdough makes amazing toast even when it’s a few days old.

If you would like to stock up, or cant eat a whole loaf in one go, freezing is the perfect way to keep bread fresh for up to 6 months. Place it in a freezer bag or tightly wrapped in a beeswax wrap. You could even slice it up before you freeze and then just take out what you need.

If you have frozen a whole loaf, cover it with a tea towel and leave it out for 3-4 hours to defrost, then refresh it for 10 minutes at 180 degrees.
